Self regulation? or Govt Regulation ?

Ethics means self regulation and it is a pious thing which comes from within, while law is incorporating fear in the mind of individual. Need for law comes when self regulation fails and members do not practice ethical acts and behavior. How to apply this to medical profession? we know that enactment of law should be the last resort to regulate human selfishness. The cross opinion about medical profession, that Doctors with noblest profession in their hands and mean mentality inside causing havoc with human lives. Are they capable of self regulation? or  Are those medical councils can enforce ethics in to their mindset? How to bring sanctity in to this medical Profession? is enforcing the laws is better than ethics&self regulation? Let us see... first our govt  enacted MTP act to control life threatening abortions and to control population . Then with advancement in technology  ultrasound machine  came which was misused by public to sex selective abortions. so,the PND

What is NORI'? 'No Obligation to Return to India’ certificate, which  will be issued henceforth to USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) aspirants by MOH-India. what is the importance of NORI? The NORI is needed by medical students who take up a US residency on an exchange visitor/J1 visa. what is the difference between Residency with  J1  VISA and Residency with  H1 VISA ? with J1 VISA,One has to return back to their home country(india) for a minimum period of two years after residency. with H1 VISA they can continue in USA after completion of residency. How the "NORI" will help the medical students? with NORI' The J1 VISA holders  need not came back to india after residency. So, to waive of the clause in  J1 VISA-( compulsory return to India for a minimum period of two years after residency),  NORI" is very much necessary. Is the brain drain of doctors, what the govt shouts is real? No. not at all.  see, roughly 1000 doctors embar

India@69.......

15th. August - the day    in 1945 that the Japanese Army had surrendered during WWII.  thats why  Lord Mountbatten considered August 15 to be a lucky day for him & England. But, many astrologers considered August 15-1947  to be inauspicious for India. thats why  the Constituent Assembly met to celebrate India’s independence at 11 p.m. on August 14, 1947 and the independent  India was born. thats why Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru told in his speech “...At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom.” Happy 69th. Independence day....

IMA Celebrating breast feeding awareness week.....

When can I start feeding my baby? You can  start feeding your baby  as soon as she's born.  Having skin-to-skin contact immediately after the birth may help: You and your baby to bond with each other. Your baby's natural feeding reflexes to kick in. To stimulate your milk to flow. The first milk you'll feed your baby is colostrum, which is a concentrated, creamy-looking, high-protein, low-fat substance. This is all your baby needs in her first three days of her life. Colostrum is easily-digestible and full of disease-fighting antibodies (immunoglobulins) that strengthen your baby's immune system .  Your milk will come in about three days after you've given birth . This is when the levels of prolactin have adjusted and you produce breastmilk, rather than colostrum.
