The committee should comprise a chairman (Dean, Principal or College Director), senior faculty and one member from management committee of the college. 3. its mandatory for private medical colleges to prepare a merit list.  The list will be prepared on the basis of a candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination, which will have 85 per cent weightage, while the candidate’s interview will have only 15 per cent weightage.  4. It is now mandatory for private medical colleges to send names of the candidates shortlisted by them for admissions in management quota to Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) for vetting and approval.

An organic waste converter that , weighing 1.1 tonne,  takes up less than one car parking slot. It  has the capacity of processing 250 kg of organic waste a day and can cater to about 500 houses. The converter, costing Rs. 10 lakh.  The lifespan of the converter is estimated to be 25 years.  The waste will be converted into bio-manure. The converter runs on electricity with a power-saving mode. So,we can put this waste converter in every ward,village and in all market areas.

When government wants to decide how much a private doctor should charge / earn, are they doing anything of the following -  1. Make it mandatory for builders to sell property to doctors at state-specified rates for constructing hospitals. 2. Providing grants for establishing clinics / hospitals. 3. Limiting the financial liability of doctors in medico-legal issues. 4. Providing tax-exemption to doctors. 5. Make it mandatory for companies to sell expensive medical instruments like ultrasound, CT, MRI machines at state-specified rates. 6. Asking banks to lend loans to doctors at lower rates. Who is Private Medical Practitioner?   "medical practitioner"  means a person legally qualified and duly recognized by the Medical Council of India and engaged in the business of consultancy and providing advice to patients whether as a private practitioner or in a private corporate/ hospital. what is the new proposed committee to regulate fees of private doctors? the union govt's proposing bill,which was  introduced in the Rajya Sabha on the 8th August, 2014, to get the approval to constitute a Committee to be known as " the Medical Consultancy and Other Services Rationalisation of Fees Committee" to determine the fees of a medical practitioner and prices of pathological tests, scanning and imaging.

The new A.P. govt under the leadership of Sri c.b.naidu,is very much eager to usher  reforms in public health and health care. its decided to move on war foot to  improve sanitation and hygiene in all panchayats, municipalities and corporations. 2. PPP measures will be implemented to fill the void of services,especially of gynaecologist, paediatrician and anaesthetist  in CHCs &district hospitals by roping in private doctors and private institutions. 3. The government would launch generic medicines shops at all government hospitals. 4. the government would bring out a legislation making it mandatory for medicos to work in Agency areas for two years immediately after their house surgeon,but this proposal was strongly condemned by the HBI-IMA AP state. already one G.O is there to make all student doctors to do one year govt service before they complete their superspecialty courses. The IMA would oppose it in strong manner if the govt procedes with this new legislation.
