The story of Republic Day! ?

Today, I just woke up and felt that the story of the Republic Day needs to be told and retold till it parade of facts marches towards the common man. The story of the Republic in fact owes its genesis from the public outrage consequent to the 1919 Amritsar Massacre.   why and how the movement of "poorna swaraj" is celebrated as Republic Day? Post Jallianwala Bagh saw Europeans at the receiving end and victims of violence for a change. The British countered it with the Rowlatt Act . The next year Gandhi committed to Swaraj, more as a spiritual independence. The basic demand of all Indians would be answered by the behaviour and response of the British, he felt and. led the nationwide civil disobedience to oppose the Rowlatt Act. For him the means was as important as the end and it took a Chauri Chaura to bring the equation back to square one. That led to more heartburns and more nationalistic resolve.   We now quickly move on to 1928 where the salt in the wound conti...

it's not just a temple. it's a national pride& Desh ki dhadkan

How the events are unfolded in the span of 5 centuries? The history of our Bharat is the history of continuous struggle against the invaders for around the last one and a half thousand years.  The aim of early invasions was to plunder and sometimes (like Alexander's invasion) were for colonisation. But the attacks from the West in the name of Islam only brought complete destruction and alienation of the society. To demoralise the nation&the society, it was necessary to destroy their religious places , hence foreign invaders also destroyed temples in India. They did this not do this once but multiple times. Their aim was to demoralise the Bharatiya society so that they could rule over Bharat unhindered with the weakened society.  The demolition of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya was also done with the same intention and for the same purpose. This policy of the invaders was not limited to just Ayodhya or any one temple, but was a war strategy for the entire world.  In...

why every Indian should fight against foreign invasion?- 4th.Cut !

I think every reader became sick of narrative of oppression&holocaust  engulfing Indians. our hearts be heavy with sorrowful incidents that captivated the entire nation for more than  1000yrs! and one should have few questions about, why Indians failed to  retaliate and defend their nation?  Indians ferociously retaliated&kept the integrity of cultural ethos intact! but we all well aware that peace is an interval between wars in any society. the unity of the state and the length of peace are in proportional to cavalry, culture and unity of the rulers and the citizens. in this chapter let's explore the cavalry and courage shown by our fore fathers to defend our mother! one should inspire&learn from them and apply those tactics and determination of  such exemplary faith and valour to protect the nation. THE MANTRA is Unity in Diversity! Why did Indian kings not resist foreign(Muslim) invaders? is it a right question?  The real  history i...
