IMA needs to devote its time and efforts to burning issues like:(courtesy:M C Gupta ).

• taking forced free services from doctors / hospitals; 
• --Stopping multiple SMC registration;
• --Forcing DMC to allow legal defence to doctors 
• --Fighting quackery;
• --Fighting assault on doctors;
• --Fighting against every day gross violation of the SC judgment in Jacob Mathew case (that FIR cannot be filed without a medical expert report of gross negligence.)
• --Fighting the government policy of allowing vaids and hakims to practice allopathy.
• --Demanding very forcefully and relentlessly a rise in the budgetary allocation for health.
