I wish we had such technologies when I was a medical student. It would have been a vastly different experience going through the challenging subjects such as anatomy or pathology. Maybe students find it so hard to digest details of anatomy because we have not given them the right tools to learn them properly. The technology to teach like this has been ready, but the cost remains the main issue. Only big medical schools can afford a few mixed reality devices, and that's simply not fair to the rest of the students around the world. What you see in the video is the new version of the Insight Heart app that ANIMA RES - 3d medical animation / AR / MR / VR has developed. Check them out! "Cardiac Arrhythmia Ablation Simulator"
