• Media management with friendly straight forward demeanor, demanding postmortem and having professional indeminity insurence(by just paying 1000/-monthly as premium,one can have 1crore coverage) are the second line protective measures for doctors.
• At individual doctor level,one should have basic medico-legal knowledge.
• IMA should appraise the police and judiciary personnel about the sections of medical protection act, by conducting inter-active seminars with police training academies,law colleges  and bar council .At association level,IMA should have proactive temperament.
