NEET UG and NEET PG 2013 Official: Gazette Notifications

Medical Council of India published a press note that the admissions through NEET are applicable from the academic year commencing from 2013-14 for MBBS, Dental and PG medical courses.

MCI has also published Gazette Notifications related to National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for
admissions to MBBS (NEET-UG) and Postgraduate Courses (NEET-PG) are available on the respective tabs on the Medical Council of India (MCI) website: www.mciindia.org

According to the recent notification of the Medical Council of India (MCI), in order to be eligible for admission to MBBS course it shall be necessary for the candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance test (NEET) to MBBS course. However, for the candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. For the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile. “The percentile shall be determined on the basis of highest marks secured in the All India common merit list in NEET for admission to MBBS,” said the new notification.
