All  hospitals  having more than 3 floors or 10000 sft. plinth area, should follow fire safety regulations. 
minimum things  they should install - 

• Fire extinguishers at all strategic positions.
• provision of  water and sand in all emergencies.
• periodic checking of electric systems and equipments.
• increase the usage of solar and LED lighting.
• periodic training and mock drill by hospital staff.
