In fact the 7000  clinical establishments in AP  will save  about 75 crores every anum due to the efforts of IMA AP state under the leadership of Dr.CSRaju,state president.

This success is possible only by IMA AP STATE in constant pursuance with fire safety DG since 6months. 

   We have thoroughly analyzed each and every section of the following regulations - 

1.AP FIRE SAFETY ACT; 

2.National building code, 

3.supreme court orders and 

4. GO issued in December 2021 by AP govt, which MANDATES and enforcing all clinics and bedded hospitals to get FIRE NOC irrespective of the height of the building.

WE HAVE APPROACHED TECHNICAL PEOPLE TO FIND OUT MORE EFFECTIVE AND MORE COST-EFFECTIVE DECENTRALISED FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT INSTEAD OF LESS EFFECTIVE COSTLY-CENTRALISED EQUIPMENT.

WE have approached motor manufacturing companies to develop water plunger motors that could pump water jet/ spray/ mist to 500 meters distance with 2 kg/sq cm force.

Clinics, non bedded hospitals ,Day care centers,consultation chambers in  commercial complexes need  to  apply for Noc.	Clinics, non bedded hospitals ,Day care centers,consultation chambers in  commercial complexes need not apply for Noc.
6meter setbacks around the building	No need of it
Validity of NOC is one year	Validity enhanced to 5yrs.
Renewal only with fire dept.	Can be renewed with DMHO&MUNCIPAL AUTHORITY.
ONE STAIR CASE & ONE RAMP or  2ND STAILR CASE MUST	One stair case and fenced pathway to neighbor building is enough.
Centralized firefighting equipment like wet riser, down comer &sprinkler system and hose piping, etc  that costs almost 15 lakhs	De-centralized equipment like  2 HP electric or petrol run motor pump (costs just 30 K  per each floor connected to normal plumbing system. Fire Extinguisher of ABC/CO2 type for every 100 Sq. Meters
Minimum water Storage : 50000 Litres (Over head tank + Ground sump	Minimum water Storage : 5000 Litres  only(Over head tank + Ground sump
Stringent inspections& corruption	Up to 5 floors, no inspection from Fire officers. Only self affidavit along with electrical safety certificate issued by any licensed electrician.
For renewal, it took months to years previously.	For renewal of Noc: the user charter proclaims that if the dept /authority don’t issue the renewal it deemed to be issued after 6 months of application submission!
To get FIRE NOC PREVIOUSLY it costs the hospital to the tune of 15-30 lakhs depending on height of the building.	Now, after simplification of rules with the pursuance of IMA AP team under the leadership of DR.C.S.Raju, it just costs one to 2 lakh for  up to 5 floor hospital buildings.
In AP, 9000 Clinical establishments were registered with health authorities. Of these 6000 are below 20 bed hospitals,clinics,labs and 90% of establishments were run in below 5 floor height buildings.	Due to the efforts of IMAAP team and prudence of Fire safety DIRECTOR-GENERAL, the cost to procure fire Noc comes down Drastically and hospitals in ANDHRA PRADESH saving 75 crores every Anum.

 

Note : up to 5 floors building, no fire officer will inspect the establishment. only self affidavit along with photos and online payment of fees are sufficient.

Fire AUDIT  is different. At any time the collector can constitute teams to monitor the hospitals  to check for proper fire fighting equipment .

How to apply for Fire Noc?

Note: Electrical safety certificate should get from electrical engineers of TRANSCO or Muncipal office.

1.Request letter to DG-Fire safety dept.,2.Electric safety certificate by by Electrical Engineers working in Transco&Muncipality. 3. Fill the affidavit. (Get it from branch secretary)., 4. Photos of each floor of the hospital showing- Existing Building Plan which should be clearly showing the details of Height, Floor areas and Staircase including the built-up area.

• One Staircase and fenced pathway to adjacent buildings on all floors &
