it was amended in 2010 . in the amendment MCI deleted the words "and professional association of doctors" from section 6.8 of the Code of Medical Ethics Regulation 2002.
Now, after a gap of 5years, these amended guidelines are notified in the official gazette on February 1-2016.
now,it takes just seven doctors to form an association and can take freebies.
