- Specialist Doctors,nurses,lab technicians.
- adoption of information technology.(digital health).
- for all these things to happen,we need big amount.
India would need about 4 lakh more specialist doctors by 2020.
Technology has taken things amazingly ahead from where we were in the last decade. Today, we are talking about robotic surgery, or robot-assisted surgery, laparoscopic surgery, also called Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), bandaid surgery, or keyhole surgery.
So the world has changed in the last 10-15 years but the adoption of technology in healthcare has gone a little slow in the process side but it has taken leaps and bounds in the diagnostics side. Machines are fully computerized and can also generate amazing 3D images.

Rural empowerment by providing fundamental facilities like - education, health, skilling to every village that is connected through Net.
The dream comes true.....
“Every village which has connectivity should have these 4 fundamental things –
- facility for e-education (virtual classroom),
- e-health whereby every PHC (primary health centre) will have telemedicine linked to the district hospital so that counselling and basic diagnostics can take place and
- "skilling – resource centres" in each Panchayat where through VC-kind of system people can be skilled and made available;
- CSCs (community service centres) – ---------- these four fundamental facilities in every village to be implemented in places where there is connectivity.
what are the challenges in healthcare delivery in our country?
- Unavailability of healthcare to a major part of the population
- Insufficiency in -Infrastructure, skilled doctors, care providers, and basic medicines
- Resource constraints, financial and workforce to create infrastructure required to provide healthcare for all
- Inefficiencies in healthcare operations due to low automation and isolated systems.(poor adoption of digital technology)
- The Indian government should increase public spending on health with a minimum of 3% of GDP by 2020, and 4% by 2025. But remember, increased healthcare financing alone will not suffice unless it is backed by accessible and efficient delivery mechanism.
- Government needs to take a holistic approach like development of standard treatment guidelines, prescription audit, quality assurance methods, incentives for low-cost medical device manufacturing, investment in health education and care delivery infrastructure and usage of modern day technology to improve performance, efficiency, and accountability in the public and private sectors.
- Indian healthcare technology solution providers to embrace new technologies like cloud, mobility, and big data in order to address the challenge of delivering quality patient care and to create sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Improving the Technology advancements in healthcare informatics, telemedicine, HIS, electronic health records, analytics, remote diagnostic, and therapeutic tools have pivoted the first step towards tech enabled healthcare.
Remember, Healthcare is not a privilege; it’s a right!
