213th.CWC meeting was organized in a most methodical and utilitarian manner by the team IMA led by dynamic duo and lotus awardees Dr.marthanda pillai & Dr.k.k.aggarwal @radisson blu in Newdelhi.
Sri Mukul Rohatgi -Attorney general of govt of india cleared the most confusing and contradictory air that tumultuously surrounding the medical profession . He discussed and answered various questions of the members about the following draconian regulations&rules promulgated by govt of india and various other states.
President of MCI also enlightened the members with patience&perseverance..
CE Act, CP Act,PCPNDT Act, Non categorization of hospitals,(Seeing and regulating corporate hospitals and small hospitals(<20beds) with equal measures), accreditation of hospitals,recognising the medical courses conducted by IMA, multiple registrations issue,crosspathy practise, govt's proposal to introduce Parallel courses to medicine & allowing non modern medicine persons through back door entry community science course by NBE are some burning issues they have discussed and shared their unbiased opinion and excellent advise.
He gospelled as follows:
" Health shall be in concurrent list", that is one of the important demand of our IMA.
Apart from these,IMA CWC discussed about various welfare and mutually aided benefit schemes like- IMA Pension policy, IMA health insurance policy both managed Wholly by IMA H.Q.
Another turn around in the function of IMA is, entering MOU with NABH through its muzzled arm-HBI, to sensitize all private hospital owners in getting accreditation from NABH.
Accreditation .....why,what and how? all questions were answered by NABH Authority.
Another issue that was discussed about is," keeping medical records and complying with RTI act".
Endorsment issue was also discussed and as per the recent MCI directive, One major confusion was cleared out that is ,"associations doesn't come under the purview of MCI.
Reception,Refreshments and Resolutions.... all is well that ends well.

- Analyse the illegal & repugnant issues of all acts that are crippling the medical profession&fraternity.
- Appraise the MOH&PMO about the vagaries due to these draconian acts which directly incapacitate the medical community and indirectly the social community at large..
