Delegate traveler's experiences-
All delegates mesmerised by the the confluence of two seas(bay of bengal & arabian sea) in to the Indian ocean, which is  decorated by monumental memorial rock of  the great son of soil, sri vivekananda  and the divine tamil poet-  sri thiruvalluvar's giant monolithic statue.
we have waited for sunrise & sunset scenery but we are not that much fortunate to experience that rare visual,as the sky is cloudy. Walking through the single curvaceous lengthy main road of kanyakumari town,we can see the stream of travelers bustling in&out of small road side shops selling the conchs ,trinkets, shells, dried starfish, local made hand bags & other utilities made up by local sea shells .

Delegates having the feast for their eyes during their Sail along the beautiful backwaters of Kerala & other piligrimage centers like-. Kumari Amman temple, Ananta padmanabha swamy temple, nagaraja temple and suchindra temple....
its not an exaggeration if we reveal that the Delegates are  inspired by Gandhi Memorial museum & vivekananda rock ...

 Kanyakumari temple
padmanabhapuram palace located at Padmanabhapuram Fort, close to the town of Thuckalay.

Thotti Palam (Hanging Bridge)
The Aqueduct is built across the Pahrali river, a small river that originates in the Mahendragiri Hills of the Western Ghats. Mathur Aqueduct itself carries water of the Pattanamkal canal for irrigation over the Pahrali river, from one hill to another, for a distance of close to one kilometer.

Thiruparappu water falls( “Kumari Kuttalam)”.

Poovar Backwaters, Neyyar River, arabian sea, blue lagoon...

Here, The estuary  is one among the natural wonders where the Lake, River, Sea and Beach meet the land, and is situated adjacent to the Poovar Island;  It is enveloped by the most serene backwaters and opening out to the Sea and a dream golden beach. the virgin Poovar Beach,  Known for its pristine and virginal beauty , separates the River Neyyar from the sea.
but,one caution is, here the sea is wild.

we approach The wealthiest temple on the earth- Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, from the huge 100-foot,seven-tier  eastern Rajagopuram . we passed  through the 365 excellently carved granite pillared corridor and by taking Rs.100/- special darshan ticket,we had a splendid and mystic darshan (saw the Lord in three parts – thirumukham, thiruvudal and thrippadam)  of Sri Padmanabha reclines on the serpent Anantha or Adi Sesha..(the divine statue is made up of 12,000 Saligramams.).

There are two other important shrines, Thekkedom and Thiruvambadi, for the Deities, Sree Yoga Narasimha and SreeKrishna Swami respectively.

Long live IMA.
