What action can be taken against hospitals employing non-MBBS doctors.?

it may attract  legal actions  against such hospitals in consumer courts, hospital registering authorities and medical council and judiciary.

as per the national Consumer Commission judgment on 16 Aug. 2007, it was observed in para 20 of the judgment as follows: {  judgment can be viewed at— http://ncdrc.nic.in/OP21497.HTML  }

"When a patient is admitted in a hospital, it is done with the belief that the treatment given in the hospital is being given by qualified doctors under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.   We hold that it is clear deficiency in service and negligence by the hospital for leaving the patient in the hands of non-MBBS doctor .”
so, its sincere advise from IMA-HBI to all such hospitals to restrain from employing non-MBBS doctors.
