Most of the cells in the human body are not human at all.

Human body is not  a neatly self-sufficient island after all. It is more like a complex ecosystem—a social network—containing trillions of bacteria and other microorganisms that inhabit our skin, genital areas, mouth and especially intestine The body contains 10 times more bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms than human cells. Most of these species are harmless—although they can still cause illness if they wind up in the wrong place. In addition, researchers are beginning to learn  exactly how some microbial species in the body help digestion and contribute to regulation of appetite and the immune system .   In fact, most of the cells in the human body are not human at all . Bacterial cells in the human body outnumber human cells 10 to one. Moreover, this mixed community of microbial cells and the genes they contain, collectively known as the microbiome, does not threaten us but offers vital help with basic physiological processes—from digestion to growth to self-...

Two Discoveries on Storing and Reusing Renewable Energy

If we can store cheaply electric energy from renewable sources like-wind,solar, then its a ground breaking event in the history of mankind. man stores electric energy by converting it in to chemical energy using electrolysis. at present we are using costly catalysts in electrolysis. Now, Electrolyzer devices use catalysts (Cheap  mixed metal oxide catalysts)  to drive a chemical reaction that converts electricity into chemical energy by  splitting water into  hydrogen  and oxygen fuels. These fuels can then be stored  and re-converted to electricity for use whenever wanted. Having cheap and efficient electrocatalysts would enable homeowners and energy companies  to store and reuse, whenever needed, intermittently generated electricity such as  solar and wind power. Nanowire Solar Cells Raise Efficiency Limit. a single nanowire can concentrate the sunlight up to 15 times of the  normal sun light intensity.

Let us use copper..

Copper door handles and taps kill 95% of superbugs in hospitals. Copper vessel keeps germs in water away. "Copper attacks the DNA and other protein molecules of the bacteria leads to its  death.  The three-member Indo-Australian research team  tested the anti-bacterial effect  of copper against bacteria like Salmonella Typhi, Salmonella typhimurium,  Vibriocholerae and E coli.
